Carrying What Matters

Built for Every Adventure.

Patent-Pending Hip Belt Engineered for the male pelvis, where the weight should actually sit.
One-Handed Fidlock® Magnetic Buckles On in one move, with one hand.
Straps Shaped for Male Shoulders They carry, they don't dig.
Built for the Long Haul Full-day comfort across the whole carry window: front inward, front outward and back.

For Both of You

Designed for dads. Trusted by both.

A carrier only earns its place if both parents trust it. That trust comes down to the same few things every time: a fit that holds up over hours rather than minutes, weight sitting where the body can actually carry it, and construction that stands up to close inspection. TUKO was built around the male frame from the first prototype. The hip belt is sized for the male pelvis, the straps clear the shoulder blades, and the load sits low enough to carry all day. It fits him properly, which means it stays adjusted to him and hers stays adjusted to her.

Three Ways to Wear.

Designed to grow with your child, offering three ergonomic carry positions for comfort, support and hands-free adventures from day one.

Ben, TUKO founder, wearing the carrier

The Founder

Meet Ben

TUKO started with a year of borrowed carriers. Ben tried one after another, none of them built for his frame, and eventually settled on the least worst of his wife's. Most carriers put the load on your back. So he built one that starts with the male body instead: a patent-pending hip belt inspired by weightlifting belts, moving the weight onto your hips, with shoulder straps positioned for male shoulder geometry.

He made the first one for himself. Other dads saw it and asked where they could get one. That's how TUKO became a product.

I started Beast Gear to make the fitness kit I couldn't find. 275,000 people ended up buying it. Now I've started TUKO to make the carrier I couldn't find, so dads can stay active and stay involved with their kids.

Mike Hinchliffe

The Designer

Meet Mike

Mike has spent his career designing things people carry. He founded Outdoor Futures, a sports and outdoor product studio in Greater Manchester, after a degree in Sports Equipment Design at Salford, and he specialises in soft goods — packs, harnesses, load-carry systems. He was lead designer on Lowe Alpine's AirZone packs. TUKO is the same discipline applied to a smaller, more precious load.

Emily Little

The Science Advisor

Meet Dr. Little

Emily is a perinatal health researcher with a PhD in experimental psychology from UC San Diego. Her published work includes randomised controlled trials on infant carrying, and research showing that wearing a baby changes how quickly a parent responds to them. She keeps TUKO honest about what the evidence actually says. But in short - baby carrying is good for dads, mums and babies!

02 How is TUKO different from other baby carriers?
Designed specifically for dads’ body types and preferences, with a fit that properly distributes weight to the hips while reducing pressure on the shoulders for greater overall comfort.
03 £170: is it actually worth it?
One carrier, 4 to 36 months, instead of buying two or three as your baby grows. Founding-run pricing is £170, below the £220 RRP.

First carriers ship January 2027. The founding run opens before that, with first access and founding-run pricing locked in.
05 How do I know it's safe?
